My First Zazzle Sale!
I thought it would never happen! I finally got my first sale on Zazzle! It wasn't a lot of money, but it's a start. I sold a DBD - Don't Be Dumb T-Shirt, a product line I started with on Zazzle. I hadn't been promoting my Zazzle store very well, but right after I joined a Zazzle group on eHow and started sharing tips there, I started to get some traffic to my store!
Like most things in eCommerce, networking is important. It gets your name out there in ways you can't foresee. People read or see what you've posted and they share it with someone else, and you don't know where it will end up!
I was on Zazzle for three months and sold nothing, but one week after I joined the Zazzle group on eHow, I had my first sale! There is definitely something to be learned from that!
My second sale on Zazzle was a "Team Conan" coffee mug, supporting comedian Conan O'Brien. That shows it's a good idea to try to create products that have "current event" relevance.
